Looking across Nonantum Road, there is a signalized crosswalk to Brooks Street, which apporaches form under the bridge in the background -- but not everyone waits for the signals to change. Also, there are no wheelchair ramps as required under the Americans with Disaiblities Act. Ramps also would be useful for bicyclists who cross in the crosswalk and for people with shopping carts and strollers. There is no marked crosswalk across Brooks Street to its sidewalk, which is on its left as it goes under the bridge.
